A Senior Lecturer in the Chemistry Department, Mr. Raph Amokaha, on
Tuesday donated, five hundred and thirty-seven (537) Volumes of Science
books to the Benue State University, Makurdi.
Mr. Amokaha, the immediate past Chairman, ASUU, BSU Branch is
currently doing his Ph.D at the University of Strathclyde, United
Kingdom
During the presentation, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, (Academic), Prof
Joel O. Eriba who stood in for the donor, explained that the books will
enhance teaching, learning and research in the University and urged the
University to put the books to judicious use.
Receiving the books, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Msugh Moses Kembe,
expressed appreciation to the donor, Mr. Raph Amokaha for the donation
as he said the books would go a long way in enhancing learning and
research in the Faculty of Science and College of Health Sciences.
He promised that the books will be judiciously used for the benefits of Staff and Students of the University.
Prof. Kembe called on other Staff on further Studies and Stakeholders
to contribute to the infrastructural and academic development of the
University for Human Capacity Development.
