I will not die, TB Joshua’s prophecies are fake – Malawian president, Peter Mutharika

President of Malawi, Peter Mutharika, has reportedly dubbed Prophet TB Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, as a ‘fake man’, following an alleged prophecy that he (the president) would die before April 1, 2016.

Mutharika who is in his mid-70s, reportedly questioned Joshua’s credentials as a prophet on Sunday at a rally in the nation’s capital, Lilongwe.

The President said, “I’m told there is a man in Nigeria called Joshua and he is saying that Zimbabwe President, Robert Mugabe and Malawian President, Peter Mutharika will die before April 1.

“Let me tell you, Joshua, you will fail. What you did in 2012 will not happen again this year,” the president was quoted to have said.

According to P.M News, Mutharika did not say when or where Joshua made the latest prophesy, he however recalled that in 2012, Joshua reportedly predicted the death of a president of an unnamed southern African country. Mutharika’s brother, Bingu, who was president at the time, did die within the predicted time frame, giving the said prophesy strong belief in Malawi.

Also in January 2016, reports say the Prophet gave a televised prophecy, telling his congregation to pray for the leaders in southern Africa saying: “End of February to April this year were peculiar months for Southern Africa.”

The President said, “This all shows that he is a fake liar. He just wants to raise money.”

Speaking further, Mutharika reportedly pointed to the collapse of a guesthouse in his sprawling SCOAN in Lagos in September 2014, which left 116 people dead, mostly South Africans.

He said, “Why did he not foretell this tragedy? He is fake.”
